Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was born February 26, 1976, from Falmouth Jamaica. He is among the most wealthy and well-known Reggae Singers. He was a member of Shottas along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996. With Father Like Son and several singles: Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap is (remix) as well as Sensimelia All of these contributed to his rising popularity in the new wave of reggae musicians. Ky-Mani joined forces with Praswell from Fugees to cover Electric Avenue from Eddy Grant. The song was a huge hit in 1997. Marley was a guest in Midem (international music showcase) when it was held at Miami in the very first time. Marley did a live performance in the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcast by the Caribbean News Agency across 36 countries. Marley was the target of an auction war. In 1997, Marley signed to Gee Street/V2 Records, where the labelmate with him P.M.
